MY HORSE organizer Privacy Policy
MY HORSE organizer helps horse owners and riders organize horse profiles, training plans, calendar reminders, health and care records, documents and selected media. This Privacy Policy explains what data is collected, how it is used, and how users can request deletion.
MY HORSE organizer is intended for users aged 13 and older.
Data We Collect
The app may collect and store the following data when you use its features:
- Account data, such as email address, display name, user ID and authentication provider.
- Horse profile data, such as horse name, profile details and optional notes.
- Training, calendar, task, nutrition, farrier, health and wellbeing records entered by the user.
- Photos, videos, PDFs and documents that the user chooses to add to horse records.
- Optional feedback or exercise submissions sent from the app.
- Subscription, plan or promotional access status if paid features are enabled.
How We Use Data
We use this data to provide app functionality, including:
- Signing users in and synchronizing data between their devices.
- Saving horse records, training history, calendar events and care information.
- Storing selected photos, videos and documents in the user's cloud account.
- Showing reminders and notifications selected by the user.
- Managing account access, subscriptions, support and data deletion requests.
Third-Party Services
MY HORSE organizer uses Firebase services provided by Google, including Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore and Cloud Storage. These services are used for login, cloud synchronization and file storage.
If you choose to connect Google Calendar, the app may request permission to create or update events in your primary Google Calendar. This is optional and is used only for the calendar synchronization feature.
If subscriptions are enabled, payments are processed by Google Play. We do not receive or store full payment card details.
Sharing of Data
We do not sell user data. User data is not shared with advertising partners. Data may be processed by service providers that are necessary to run the app, such as Firebase and Google Play services.
The app may let users share selected horse-related information through features such as codes, links or messages. Such sharing happens only when the user chooses to use those features.
Photos, Videos and Documents
The app accesses only files, photos, videos or documents that the user chooses through the system picker. The current release does not require camera or microphone access for direct recording.
Security
Data sent between the app and Firebase services is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. Access to user data is protected by Firebase Authentication and Firebase security rules.
Data Retention and Deletion
User data is kept while the account is active or as long as needed to provide the app's services. Users can delete their account and associated cloud data from inside the app where available.
