Data We Collect

The app may collect and store the following data when you use its features:

• Account data, such as email address, display name, user ID and authentication provider.
• Horse profile data, such as horse name, profile details and optional notes.
• Contact details you enter for horse-care specialists, such as their name, phone number, email address and company.
• Training, calendar, task, nutrition, farrier, health and wellbeing records entered by the user.
• Photos, videos, PDFs and documents that the user chooses to add to horse records.
• Optional feedback or exercise submissions sent from the app.
• Subscription, plan or promotional access status if paid features are enabled.
• Technical information processed by integrated SDKs, such as device and app information, installation identifiers, approximate location derived from IP addresses for sign-in security, performance and error data, and feature usage metrics.

How We Use Data

We use this data to provide app functionality, including:

• Signing users in and synchronizing data between their devices.
• Saving horse records, training history, calendar events and care information.
• Storing selected photos, videos and documents in the user's cloud account.
• Showing reminders and notifications selected by the user.
• Managing account access, subscriptions, support and data deletion requests.
• Maintaining security, diagnosing errors and measuring the performance and use of integrated services.

Third-Party Services

MY HORSE organizer uses Firebase services provided by Google, including Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore and Cloud Storage. These services are used for login, cloud synchronization and file storage. Depending on the platform and available options, you can sign in using email and password, Google or Apple.

If you choose to connect Google Calendar, the app may request permission to create or update events in your primary Google Calendar. This is optional and is used only for the calendar synchronization feature.

Payments are processed by Apple's App Store on iOS or Google Play on Android. RevenueCat processes the app user identifier and purchase and subscription records to verify access, restore purchases and update access after supported promotional offer redemption. We do not receive or store full payment card details.

The app uses Google ML Kit to recognize text in feed and supplement label images on the device. ML Kit does not send the input images, recognized text or recognition results to Google for recognition. The SDK can contact Google for updates and sends technical usage and diagnostic metrics, including device and app information, per-installation identifiers, performance information and error events. Sharing of Data

We do not sell user data. User data is not shared with advertising partners. Data is processed by service providers needed to operate the app, including Firebase, Google's authentication and ML Kit services, RevenueCat, Apple and Google Play, for the functions described above.

The app may let users share selected horse-related information through features such as codes, links or messages. Such sharing happens only when the user chooses to use those features.

Photos, Videos and Documents

The app accesses photos, videos and documents that you select through the system picker. With your permission, the camera is used when you choose to photograph a feed or supplement label or capture a document page. You can decline camera access and use supported file or photo selection options instead. Selected attachments may be uploaded to Firebase when you save or synchronize them. The current release does not record microphone audio.

Security

Data sent between the app and Firebase services is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. Access to user data is protected by Firebase Authentication and Firebase security rules.

Data Retention and Deletion

User data is kept while the account is active or as long as needed to provide the app's services. Users can delete their account and associated cloud data from inside the app where available.
